No, the title's not a typo! ;-)
We finally have a bit of snow! I left home as always this morning around 5:30 AM and drove, oh, maybe a mile or so down a few roads. I was going about 10-15 MPH. Well, I entered a road that has a slight incline and the next thing I know my truck is driving itself right into a ditch! I tried without avail to get the darn thing out, but the ditch was about two feet deep and my left front tire would not cooperate and remove itself. I was thinking, "Maybe we should have bought 4-wheel drive..."
Anyway, I called a local tow truck man and he was my savior. Very nice man.
Now I am at work reading all about NAIS over at Phelan's and Walter's sites and getting myself good and mad. Phelan has offered up evidence that our premise and personal information will NOT be kept private and Walter has a great idea of what can happen to our information even if they claim it is private. Admittedly, I am behind on my reading and this is from before Thanksgiving. I have no idea where my time goes...{in a ditch maybe}
As most of you know, I sleep with "the man"...or at least I get a paycheck from said man. This does bother me and even though I don't deal directly with NAIS, I may be "utilized" to force compliance in the future if they think it is necessary. Rest assured, it will be the day I quit. A while back I received an email from a U$deeeee@ higher up and it basically asked that we employees support NAIS {sadly, my use of those letters has already linked me to their system. They do read blogs that reference NAIS for info on how to defeat our opposition. Just so you know}. I really thought hard about responding and telling him that just because I am associated doesn't mean I have to support all it's illegal activities...but I chickened out. I imagine them taking my kids from me or some other nightmare. Possibly an overactive imagination...possibly not.
Anyway, I was just thinking I wish I could use winter as a slow time. This morning's episode as re-enforced this thought.

I am just hoping that my friends will visit me in prison, and I hope someone knows a very good lawyer.
And yes, I see them on my blog.
